Real fellowship is much more that just showing up at services. It is experiencing life together. It includes, unselfish loving, honest sharing, practical serving, sacrificial giving, sympathetic comforting, and much more. It’s the “Yokefellow experience". Your role as a group leader or assistant is to leader in a small group setting. Your main role is to lead a small group of 3-5 members through the Yokefellows Growth Study.
The Yokefellows Growth Study "Moving Towards Maturity" is a 12 lesson guide for each group leader, assistant and new convert(s). This team should be comprised of one Yokefellow serving as a leader and another as the assistant. This will allow a two-fold benefit: (1) the new convert(s) will mature in Christ themselves and (2) the "Assistant" will learn Yokefellowship leadership and grow spiritually. Overall, relationships are nurtured and Christ is magnified.
